Jewels!

Disappointed in this new shirt, it is purple with little flowers
I realized after I took the tags off and put it on
that it was too tight and not flattering
I look pregnant...

Purples and Greens-love them!

I love these shoes, got them ages ago on Ebay
they are silk with sequins

I think if anyone asked me what my favorite colors were I would have to say jewel tones. I think they are the most flattering on me. I went out with a bunch of my oldest, dearest friends. It is the first time I've made it out with my friends in a very long time, and I was so proud that I made it. Also, I posted yesterday that one of my twins was accepted to her first choice college, later THE SAME DAY my other twin was accepted to her number two college. So we were pretty happy. the daughter that got accepted to number 2 has to wait until February to hear from her first choice-but hey, they're in! Thank so much to all my blogger friends who told me to keep the blog up. Love you guys!

  1. I also love jewel tones and really try to stick to them. Love your shoes, and I would put this top under a great jacket...it would look good and you would not be so disappointed in it...give it a try and see what you think!!

  2. Pam, the jacket is a great idea, as I already had this brand new top on the Ebay pile. It isn't cool enough here for jackets, but I will hold on to it for a while!

  3. I was going to suggest a jacket as well. That is what I do to try to camoflauge my big middle--and mine is MUCH larger than yours. Even a light weight vest can be used. However, that said, you don't look as large as you think you do. We always are harder on ourselves and others usually don't see the flaws that we do.
The color is lovely and your shoes are so cool.

  4. I like purple and green too, although I would do a more olive green (that's my color). I like the style of the top.

  5. Personally I love that top on you! I don't see prego and it cuts well on your waist. The color is fantastic. But you ahve to feel comfortable in what you wear or feel bad about yourself all day...Congrats! to your daughter! that is such a big deal WOW...my son came home and told us he is taking a yr off school. UGH! famous last words

  7. I love the purple and green together... I will have to try that combination sometime. You could always layer a jacket over the purpke top, I've found that a snug top looks better under a blazer
